Nathali Elfström led a hands-on workshop on weaving with recycled textiles at the DC Crafty Arts & Makers Festival. Sponsored by the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) and Washington City Paper, the one-hour session introduced participants to basic weaving techniques using repurposed materials. It was inspiring to see attendees explore texture, color, and form, creating unique, sustainable pieces through experimentation and play.
